Thank you Mrs. Massey for sharing your personal experience about why blood donations are important. Northwest’s annual Blood Drive is Wednesday, March 3 from 8am-1pm in the gym mezzanine. Parents, students, and staff are encouraged to schedule a lifesaving appointment. Donors must be at least 16 years old. Donors who are 16 must also bring a signed parental consent form. All donors must bring a photo ID and wear a mask. Drink plenty of water and eat regular meals prior to your donation. Please contact Paul Kitchen if you have any questions. firstname.lastname@example.org
Northwest Grizzlies for Change student leadership has decided to take on blood cancer and we’ve partnered with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) to raise funds to help find a cure. Leukemia is the #1 cancer in children. LLS is funding the Children’s Initiative to research and develop pediatric cancer treatments with minimal side effects so children can lead a normal life once they reach remission.
