Fifteen teachers and school-based staff members across the district were recently surprised with the news that they received Education EDGE and Koch classroom grants to support their classroom projects.
Students at South High School are being introduced to the new ACES web-based curriculum, which will introduce students to multiple industry credentials that will help provide training for employment opportunities in an automotive dealership.
At the Dec. 9 Board of Education Meeting, high school student athletes were recognized for fall sports academic excellence, and middle schools were recognized for spring and fall sports academic excellence.

Thanks to a grant from the Midwest Dairy Council, students in the district’s 23 middle and high schools will soon be able to enjoy a smoothie as part of a healthy breakfast.

ACT is this Saturday, December 14th. We will begin at 8 a.m. promptly. Park in the Tyler Street parking lot and plan to arrive early. You must have your admission ticket and your photo ID to be allowed to test. Bring #2 pencils and your calculator. Cell phones are not allowed for the ACT test. They cannot be seen from the time the test begins until it ends or you will be dismissed. If you need help getting your admission ticket printed, please get help in the CCC right away. You should plan to be here until 12 noon if you are not taking writing and about 1 pm if you are taking writing.

Esports Winter Open Registration is open! If you are wanting to play esports this winter, come to the information meeting Friday during 9th hour to register. We will be adding more games for Winter Opens.
