Hey South!  It’s getting warmer by the day, and spring is in the air.  If you are interested in staying in shape and getting ready for fall sports, or have never participated in anything while you’ve been in high school, then track and field is for you!  We have events for all skill levels so you don’t have to be the fastest or the strongest to experience success.  The first practice is Monday, February 26th.  We will meet in the J-Hall Fitness room at 3:50.  You will need a current physical, good grades, and a coachable attitude.  Remember, track and field is for everyone, even if you have experience or are just a beginner.

Spring Break is right around the corner!  Round up your friends and volunteer together through United Way Youth Days of Caring.  They’ve organized over 40 projects at local nonprofits during the week of March 19-23.  You can help these organizations tackle spring cleaning, landscaping, craft projects with clients and children, and much, much more!  Sign-up ends Thursday, March 15.  Register online at
