Video: WPS Native American Program unveils buffalo hide tipi
The Wichita Public Schools’ Native American Indian Education Program acquired an authentic buffalo hide tipi to use in educational programs throughout the district. The tipi is constructed in the same way the Native Americans built them for centuries.

BOE video: Student transportation contract
At the Nov. 18 BOE meeting, the board heard a presentation on the student transportation contract and voted to extend the agreement with FirstGroup America, Inc., (dba First Student) to provide various required and requested student transportation services through June 30, 2025.
