I am thrilled to be teaching second and third grade combo class at Cleaveland Traditional Magnet and to be part of such a warm and dynamic community. Cleaveland is a wonderful place to teach and learn, and I feel lucky to be in this profession doing what I love. I strive to create a caring, safe, and engaging learning environment, which encourages students to believe in themselves and to do their personal best.
I grew up in McPherson, Ks. I earned my first Bachelors of Science degree in Business at McPherson College. After completing my degree I went to work at McPherson College and this is where I fell in love with the learning environment. So, in 2018 I began my journey of being an elementary teacher. I received my degree in Elementary Education from Friends University. This is my first year teaching.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, baking, crafting, and spending time with my amazing husband, my three young adult children, my grandson and numerous family and friends.
