    The Wichita Board of Education approved a change in the learning model for the second nine weeks for middle and high school students utilizing a Blended Onsite/MySchool Remote model for students who selected onsite learning at enrollment. There are no changes to the elementary learning options for the second nine-weeks.

  • Video: WPS Legacy Fund Golf Classic

    On Oct. 9, the district held the inaugural Legacy Fund Golf Classic at Crestview Country Club, presented by Credit Union of America. The event raised more than $85,000 for the WPS Legacy Fund, supporting the Early College Academy at Northwest High School, a partnership with Friends University.

  • Video: Wichita Public Schools opens Family Help Centers

    We opened our Family Help Centers last week at North High, South High and the district's Alvin E. Morris Administrative Center for families who need help for technology and bi-lingual issues. The centers are open 8 - 11:30 am and 12:30 - 3:10 pm Monday through Friday. Starting Thursday, Sept. 17, the West High center will move to South High School.
