Student Login Information and Wireless Access
Students: You must first log on to a Windows computer and change your password before you can access StudentVUE or log on to our wireless network. Remember: the only network you may use now for your personal devices is WPS_PERSONAL. If you have questions, stop by the Tech Office in C205.
Using WPS_PERSONAL should ultimately resolve the issue where an old password on a device locks out your account when your password changes. To connect your personal device, you will instead use the WPS_Personal SSID or Wi-Fi network. See instructions >> You may connect as many as 5 personal devices to the network. Be sure to forget the WPSWIFI network under Settings > Wi-Fi on your device.
Note: to be able to access SSL (https://) websites using our Wi-Fi, you must install the trust certificates available here >> You must install BOTH certificates! Then you need to search for the word TRUST in your Settings app or go to General > About > Certificate Trust Setttings. Tap on slider next to the WPSRCA certificate to trust it.
