  • Enrollment Information

    District enrollment information can be found here: https://www.usd259.org/enroll. Online enrollment is done through ParentVUE (https://parentvue.usd259.net) on a computer only - the mobile site does not allow for enrollment.

     

    • Online enrollment will begin July 3, 2018.
    • In-person enrollment for all schools is July 30-31 and August 1
    • Enrollment times at all schools will be 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.

     

    In-person enrollment at East begins in the Main Gym on the south side of the building.

  • Summer Hours

    East will be open Monday through Thursday only from 7:00 am - 5:30 PM starting June 4 through July 20. Most office staff will also not return until July 25. If you have a question, please try calling our main line, 973-7200, during normal office hours, and press 0 to speak to an operator. If you are unable to reach someone, please try our main office number of 973-7245.

    Congratulations to the East girls soccer team for winning the regional championship against Garden City 3-1. They are on to quarterfinals for state in Topeka against Washburn Rural at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 22. Good luck, Aces!

  • East Senior Awarded Scholastic National Silver Key

    Earlier this spring, Scholastic Arts & Writing announced their national art award recipients.  Only those who receive Gold Keys at the regional level get entered into the national platform.  USD 259 had 5 students receive national recognition. East High Senior Edgar Mendez received a National Silver Key for the photograph Juicy Lime.

    On April 12th, we celebrated 10 years of Aces giving back to the Wichita community through our ACES in the Community Day held each April. The anniversary was celebrated afterwards on the front lawn with food trucks, college booths, music and games. A big thank you to all our community partners who helped make this event possible!

  • Two East High Teachers Win Distinguished Classroom Teacher Awards

    A big congratulations to our very own ceramics teacher, Brenda Lichman, for receiving the Wichita Public Schools First Year Secondary Distinguished Classroom Teacher Award. She will also be the District Representative and compete for the State Horizon Award given to a first year teacher. District Leadership, BOE members and her family joined us to surprise Brenda during her 1st hour class.
