    • How long have you been in education/what positions have you held? I have been in education for 20 years, 5 years as a classroom teacher, 5 years as an Instructional Coach, 2 years as an assistant principal and 8 years as a principal.  
    • What is your favorite thing about working with kids? Building relationships with kids and seeing them grow academically, socially and emotionally.
    • What is your favorite part of the school day? My favorite part of the day is arrival and seeing happy faces in the morning.
    • What is your favorite Spaght event and why? My favorite Spaght event has been the Back to School Chill and Grill. I love seeing all of the students and families after the summer break. Kids are excited about meeting their teachers and seeing friends they missed all
    • summer.What is a little known fact about you? I married my high school sweetheart and we have 2 children. I love watching sports.

About Our Assistant Principal Ms. Osborne!

    • How long have you been in education/what positions have you held? This is my 19th year in education. I started in 3rd grade, taught 1st for 9 years, reading intervention-3 years, instructional coach -4 years, and currently an assistant principal.
    • What is your favorite thing about working with kids? My favorite thing about working with kids is being able to see them grow academically and in the area of social emotional.
    • What is your favorite part of the school day? The beginning of the day is probably my favorite part of the day! I love being able to say “good morning” and seeing all of the students faces ready to start a new day on positive note.
    • What is your favorite Spaght event and why? My favorite Spaght event is the “Chill and Grill.” I love this event because it is great to see families after a long summer.
    • What is a little known fact about you? A little known fact about me is that I love the Kansas City Chiefs!
