Volunteering @WPSBrooks

  • It's all mentoring! Whether you chose to tutor math or reading, help with homework, experiment with STEM, or participate in a variety of other activities; it all falls under the umbrella of mentoring! Tell us what you want to do!

Our Mentoring program takes place during lunch/recess. After school we offer homework help or an opportunity for students to just "check in" with a mentor. For the 2020-21 school year, we expect all mentoring to be online, even if/when students return to school. Volunteers will not be allowed in buildings, but the great thing is, YOU can be anywhere and still "meet" with students!

    Volunteers

You can request a mentor to meet with each week, or you can JOIN any lunch or after school session. If you do not see a "LUNCH with Mrs. Hawks" or "After school with Mrs. Hawks" meeting on your calendar, email her at jhawks@usd259.net to be added, or contact her through TEAMS.
