Welcome To Peterson Elementary Physical Education! 

Our hope as a program is to create a learning environment for all students that is positive, safe, engaging and fun.  We not only want students to love physical activity but we want them to value it for a lifetime.  Throughout the year students will be taught a variety of physical activities that create maximum opportunities for students of all abilities to be successful.  Some of our skill units may include jump rope, throwing & catching, striker ball, dribbling with hands, bowling and roller skating to name a few.  Another fun tradition is our annual Peterson Olympics held in May.  This is a chance for the whole school to show what they have learned throughout the year in PE.
