This year is all about empowering the students.  Third grade is a wonderful transition year.  It is my pleasure to shift from I tell you and you do to show me what you know.  Students are ready this year to show what they know in a way that is meaningful to them. We do a lot of learning from hurricanes to pirates.  We use a lot of technology in our class. We have 1 to 1 chromebooks and use them every day.   From home you can support them by encouraging them to seek out information for themselves. Another way you can support your child is by making sure they are reading each night, checking to see if they have their homework completed, and the biggie - sign the agenda.
