The Gammon Specials Team includes 2 music teachers, 2 PE teachers, 2 librarians and an art teacher.  Gammon students will have 2 music lessons, 2 PE lessons, 1 library lesson, and 1 art lesson each week with these specialists.

Michelle Baker (Music):  Ms. Baker is so excited to be serving Gammon Knight students and their families!  She has a Bachelors of Music Education and Kodaly Levels 1-3 Certification. She also hae an ESOL endorsement, with her Masters in Music Education. She believes MUSIC ROCKS!!!

Hanah Henry (Music): Mx. Henry is a new teacher at Gammon and splits her time between here and White Elementary. She has a Bachelors of Music Education from Emporia State. She is ready for a fantastically musical year! 

Natika Gilbert (Art):  This is Ms. Gilbert's first year at Gammon! She loves art and she's excited to be a Gammon Knight!

Taryn Whitmore (PE):  Ms. Whitmore has been teaching at Gammon since 2012.  She has a bachelor's degree in Physical Education, is ESL endorsed, and CPR certified. 

Charity Carter (Library):  Miss Carter has been at Gammon since 2021.  She has a bachelor's degree in elementary education, a master's degree in educational administration, and a library media science endorsement. 

Amy Beckmann (Library): Mrs. Beckman is a librarian at Adams four days a week, but she's a Gammon Knight on Tuesday.  She has a bachelor's degree in elementary education, a master's degree in school leadership, and a library media science endorsement. This is her fourth year as a librarian.

Hanah Henry's favorite habit is Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood (Listen Before You Talk). "I try to learn everything I can about a situation or person and then speak my opinion. That way, everyone has a chance to express their own viewpoint with fewer misunderstandings."

Natika Gilbert's favorite habit is: Begin With the End in Mind.  "It's important to work toward an end goal!"

Taryn Whitmore's favorite habit is: Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood. "If everyone tried to listen to others thoughts, feelings and ideas, then more things would be accomplished and people would feel valued."

Charity Carter's favorite habit is: Begin with the End in Mind.  "I really like writing lists and making sure that I have everything I need to complete a task before I start working on it."
