Kindergarten students will hold a Pennies for Paws drive, raising money to benefit the Kansas Humane Society.
The Kansas Humane Society is a local no-kill shelter that serves approximately 16,000 animals each year through adoption facilitation, veterinary services, and more. Through the fundraising process, Kindergarten students will have the opportunity to learn about and teach others about responsible pet ownership, the services of the Humane Society, and the needs of animals in their community.
The money raised by students will go directly to saving and serving animals in need of care.
