I'm a Junior! What do I need to know now in order to be successful after high school?

    • Continue to do your best in school, explore careers, and participate in extracurricular activities

    • Attend an ACT Prep Workshop at WSU. Here is the current schedule: WSU PREP Workshops

    • Take the ACT in the fall and/or spring. Here are the 2017-2018 ACT dates: ACT TEST Dates

    • Research colleges by attending campus visits, meeting with admission reps and doing research online

    • Evaluate your transcript. Check your GPA, class rank and high school credits to make sure you are on track.

    • Memorize your social security number (if applicable)

    • Be sure to check your email frequently for messages from the CCC, colleges, the ACT and other important contacts

    • Start researching scholarships you may be eligible to apply for senior year! Here is the CCC's Scholarship Page: https://www.usd259.org/Page/10765

    • To be prepared to apply for scholarships, follow this advice: REAL TALK FOR JUNIORS

    • If you will be going straight into a career after high school, the CCC can help with that as well!
    • Ask questions! Talk to Mrs. Stork (the CCC), your school counselor, teachers, and others.
