WPS named one of the Best Communities for Music Education
The Wichita Public Schools has been named one of the 2021 Best Communities for Music Education by the National Association of Music Merchants.

WPS is offering COVID-19 tests for WPS and First Student staff, students, and their household family members who are showing signs of COVID-19 (symptomatic) and those who are not (asymptomatic) at the Alvin Morris Administrative Center.

BOE approves transitioning all secondary onsite students back 5 days a week
On Monday, March 8, the Board of Education approved all onsite middle and high school students to return to onsite five days a week for the fourth quarter, based on current community COVID-19 data. The transition will begin on Monday, March 29 when students return from spring break.
