Mrs. Audrey Garvey

Greetings PH family and friends! I started at Price-Harris in the 2017-2018 school year, and LOVE being an eagle. Before coming to PH, I completed my Masters in Music Education and Kodaly Certification at Wichita State University. I am originally from Oklahoma City where I received my BME at University of Central Oklahoma, and then taught a year of middle school choir before moving to my new home of Wichita. Being a music teacher is the greatest because I get to share the excitement and JOY of music with children at so many ages!

Mr. Tyler Burgess

Mr. Burgess is a recent graduate of Wichita State University where he completed Bachelors degrees in Music Performance in Saxophone and Music Education. While saxophone is his main instrument, Mr. Burgess is skilled in a wide number of instruments and brings a wealth of musical knowledge to the PH music team. He will be at PH on Mondays, Thursdays, and Wednesday afternoons, spending the rest of the week at McCollum Elementary.

  • The Price-Harris Honor Choir was founded in the Fall of 2018. This group is open to any 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students who wish to participate. The choir rehearses once a week and performs 2-3 times per semester. In its founding year the choir performed at a Wichita Thunder hockey game, the PH Holiday Sing-along, and Larksfield Place Independent Living.

We look forward to more singing, learning, and friendship in the 2019-2020 school year!

Our "come and try it" first rehearsal will be Wednesday, September 4th at 8:05 am in the music room. Please drop students off at Door 12 (by the gym). Mrs. Garvey will be there at 8:00 to open doors!

**A signed behavior contract is required and must be adhered to by any PHHC participant, and may be found in the file library below.**
