Mrs. Karen Waterman-Overgaard
Principal
Mrs. W-O enjoys working with all stakeholders of Coleman including students, staff, parents, and community members. It is her goal to ensure that all students know that they are the future and can do whatever they dream of doing or becoming. It’s important to Mrs. W-O to support students and staff in their hopes and dreams so that they have every opportunity to reach their goals. Our school vision, “Coleman will be a destination school where all students, staff, and community are part of a restorative and inclusive culture. All are empowered to be future ready through rigor, collaboration, and innovative learning,” is what she strives to make a reality for all our students and staff. She is also extremely excited to be on the forefront of our new Environmental Magnet designation and looks forward to its implementation! Mrs. W-O enjoys spending time with her family and friends swimming, partaking in delicious foods (her favorites are Thai and Mexican), and just hanging out.
