• This introductory course to Audio Production will teach students to critically listen, be comfortable in a recording studio environment, comprehend basic audio terminology and concepts, demonstrate appropriate microphone usage and placement, understand and demonstrate professional software skills for digital audio recording and editing, record and edit single and multiple audio tracks, and demonstrate creative and functional application of sound and audio with and without accompanying visual media. This course is available through the magnet program at Gordon Parks Academy: STEM Leaders in Applied and Media Arts
      Students in the Audio / Visual elective focus on creating, producing, and operating digital production used to communicate to various audiences. As skills progress, students assume more responsibility in producing media for the schools that use multimedia to broadcast information, such as upcoming events, school highlights and other messages to students.
