Hi and welcome to Minneha Music! I’m Ms. Suchy. I received my bachelor’s in Music Education from Wichita State in 2014 and my Master’s in 2017.  I was raised in Lawrence, Kansas.  In my free time I like to teach myself to play new instruments and be with friends and family.  Currently, I can play violin, ukulele, guitar, cello, viola, piano, and ocarina.  Next, I want to learn to play the drums!

Hello Hawks! I started teaching music for USD 259 in 1994, the same year my husband and I got married. We have 2 daughters that we are very proud of. We live in the country with our 2 dogs, ducks, fish, and lots of wildlife visitors. When I am not teaching, I enjoy working in my flower and vegetable gardens. I have been at Minneha since 2019. I am also the Adjunct Professor of Horn at Friends University and play my horn with a variety of faculty and community ensembles. I am constantly amazed at the power of music in our everyday lives and hope to share that excitement with all of you.
