The fourth quarter is called the one-on-one round. Players compete one-on-one against the opponent in the same chair, racing to buzz in and be first to give the correct answer. The two competing players have a total of 30 seconds to answer their question, including the time to read the question. Correct answers are worth 2 points and incorrect answers cost the team 1 point. If neither player answers the question correctly, there will be a “free for all”. After the judge says, "Free for all", any player may buzz in and attempt to answer. Correct answers are still worth 2 points and incorrect answers cost the team 1 point. Players foul out after two fouls.
