One of USD 259's long term strategic goals is to increase 3rd-grade reading proficiency. Bryant has partnered with City-Wide Mission to create the "Hornet's Flying High" reading program to help meet this objective. Each week several volunteers come to read with our first, second and third-grade students. During this time, students work on learning multiple reading strategies, practice reading fluency, and receive encouragement to keep working towards their reading goals.
