My name is Eren Alvarado. I am a boy mom and I love it! I enjoy meeting new people, helping everyone feel welcomed, and believe that our calling is to be of service to one another. I enjoy alternating between English music and Spanish music.

I have been the counselor at Allison since the turn of the century. I am a father of four and have been married to my wife, Brenda, since 1991. I enjoy watching the Kansas City Chiefs and officiating football at the college level. In 2022, I officiated the NAIA Football National Championship in Durham, North Carolina. I enjoy the outdoors and camping and hiking. I like unsweet iced tea, meat and cheese tray and any snack that is sweet, especially chocolate and peanut butter! Here's to a great school year! 

Hi there - I am Denyse Cerullo. I graduated from Emporia State in year 2001. Yes, that was a long time ago! I grew up in a very small town southeast of Wichita (you won't recognize the town, so I won't even waste my time saying it). I still go there to ride four wheelers and help my family with the cows.

My love of math is disgusting to many people, but hopefully not to YOU. I have taught in the Wichita School District for 21 years, the last 14 years have been teaching middle school mathematics. I am now the Data Coach at Allison (I still deal with a lot of numbers, so my nerdy math brain is still very happy).

On my off time, I help my husband raise our young son and chocolate lab. We go to the lake a lot and ride our jet skis, hang out by our firepit with friends and marshmallows, or just become couch potatoes and watch Netflix. It's all about balance, right?

I can make the best monster cookie the side of the Mississippi. I enjoy Diet Coke, anything chocolate, anything with peanut butter, and coffee - lots and lots of coffee.

I love books! I love big books and l love little books and all the books in between. I think good books have the power to grab and change a reader like nothing else. Who wouldn't want to spend all day sharing that with students?!?

Although I'm an official adult, I LOVE young adult literature.

Hey there! I'm Mrs. McGovern and I'm the MTSS Facilitator, AKA Instructional Coach, AKA a teacher for teachers. I love being an Allison Eagle and seeing all of the amazing things our staff and students do! My goal is to support the teachers in the building so that they can focus their attention on helping the students do their very best in class. You'll be seeing me pop in and out of your classes this year; be sure to say, "Hi!"

My greatest accomplishments in life are being a mom to my two adorable kids, winning best actress in my high school drama awards, and perfecting my soft pretzel recipe. I love anything chocolatey or cheesy!

Hello! I am so blessed to be the school nurse here at Allison Middle School. I finished nursing school while being a mom of three children! This is my second year here and I am looking forward to a year full of challenges. I am eager/excited to see the students return on-site. I enjoy taking care of the students and building positive relationships with them.

Hey there! My name is Laurie Stead and I am proud to be the School Psychologist here at Allison. I've been at Allison since 2022 and I hope to be here for many more years. I have three dogs who keep me busy on my time off. Some of my favorite things include spending time with my family, musicals, reading, Christmas time, movie theater popcorn, and dark chocolate. My door is always open, so feel free to stop by anytime!
