Future Ready Return To School Plan for the 150th Year of Public Education in Wichita in 20-21
On July 30, the Board of Education approved a revised 20-21 school year calendar with September 8 as the first day of school for all students and May 25 as the last day of school. Click here to see the calendar.
The BOE also looked at the Future Ready Return to School Summary - the Top 10 things to know about the plan.
On July 23, the Board of Education approved three learning options for families when they return to school in the fall. Families can select onsite, MySchool Remote or Education Imagine Academy based on what best fits their child’s needs.
On July 17, the BOE held a workshop to look at Employee Supports and protocols to support physical, mental and professional development needs for staff.

On July 15, the BOE held a workshop to look at Learning Model Options to share details of educational options available to students.
On July 13, the BOE held a workshop to look at district operations and plans that will be implemented to provide safe and healthy environments.
