North High School ACT Code: 173-207
ACT: American College Testing Program
ACT is used by all Kansas schools for admissions purposes. The cost for 2023-2024 is $66 for the ACT and $91 if the student wishes to take the ACT plus Writing Test.
Taking the ACT is an important part of the college admission process. A student's ACT score may make a student eligible for certain academic scholarships, which oftentimes is the largest amount of aid students receive from their respective colleges. Additionally, ACT scores are often used to assess a given student's need to be placed into general education courses.
Pay close attention as the registration deadlines for these dates are generally 3-4 weeks before the test date! You can register for the ACT by clicking here. Students may also register for the ACT with Mrs. Schmeidler in the CCC. Pay attention to the morning announcements for registration deadlines!
In order to register for the ACT, you will need to have your unofficial transcript available. Instructions for viewing your unofficial transcript can be found here. It is expected that North students take the ACT at least once by the end of their junior year. You can take the ACT test once a month starting as early as your sophomore year.
