• Health Room Information 

    Illnesses- If your child is ill with a fever of 100.4 or above, has severe cough, body aches,  is vomiting or having diarrhea, they must stay home and be free of these symptoms for a full 24 hours. The fever must come down on its own without the use of tylenol or ibuprofen before returning to school. Students must have a doctor's note to return to school. 

    Covid- If your child is a close contact to anyone who has tested positive for COVID, you are expected to notify the school for next steps.  

    Immunizations- Students must have current immunizations to attend school. If they do NOT have current immunizations they will be excluded from school by a specific date in October. Notification will be sent to those families who do not meet this criteria. 

    Health concerns- Please let the school nurse know if your child has a health concern such as diabetes, asthma, food allergies, or if your child needs to take medication or have a special diet at school. There are forms that need to be completed to provide special care at school. 

    Emergency phone numbers- Please make sure that you update your emergency phone numbers with the office, so that we may contact you in a timely manner should an illness or emergency occur! 

    Extra clothes- It is helpful to put extra clothes in your child’s backpack in case of accidents or spills at school. The office will not need to call you to come provide clothing during the day if your child has his/her own comfortable clothes.
