Ann Asubry Frey began teaching in 1996 and taught high school for 23 years before moving to Hamilton Middle School in 2019. She graduated with her bSE in English from Emporia State University in 1995 and later earned her journalism endorsement at Wichita State University with additional journalism graduate work at the University of Missouri. She loves to read, garden, and hike as well as spend time with her children and husband

I'm Camille Lopez! I was born and raised in Wichita and graduated from WSU in May of 2019. I then started working as a 7th grade language arts teacher at Hamitlon in August of 2019. I love Jesus, spending time with my husband, and taking countless pictures of our miniature schnauzer, Olive. Ms. Schaake started at Hamilton in August 2019. She is currently our volleyball coach and one of the AVID Site Coordinators. She teaches Project Based Learning and Math Intervention. Ms. Schaake enjoys reading and traveling in her spare time.

Mrs. Kat Sherman
Kat was born in New York City and her family moved back to Kansas after her dad retired from the Army. She had a complicated relationship with school, but eventually graduated from KU with a BFA in 1996.She later returned to college and earned her BS in Secondary Education from WSU, and then a Master's of Education from ESU. Teaching Middle School Science at Hamilton for the past decade is the most rewarding job she has ever had, and she adores her "nerds and scholars". She recently became the newest AVID teacher and enjoys helping students become prepared for life beyond high school. When she's not teaching, she can be found running local trails and races, or hiking in one of Kansas' many state parks. She actively supports local and regional MMIP/MMIW groups and loves spending time at The Mid-America All-Indian Museum. She lives with her beloved husband, two cats and two rabbits.
