Semester Finals Schedule
Titans, with winter break just around the corner, we would like to invite you to return all library books you may have. We will forgive all overdue charges as long as you turn them in by Wednesday Dec. 13th. You will also be entered in a drawing for a $20 movie theater gift card… The winner will be called in Thursday the 14th just in time for the holidays!
Hey Seniors! Cap & gown photos are in. You can pick them up in H-4. Again, senior cap & gown photos are in and they can be picked up in H-4.
Are you going to move out of the South High attendance area during the winter break? Please notify Mrs. Brewster in the Registrar’s Office in B1 if you know you will be moving out of the South High area so she can create an exit card for you. Parents will need to come to the school to sign the withdrawal paperwork. You must return all books and take care of all obligations before you leave South.

Dr. Tiffinie Irving, Assistant superintendent of Learning Services, has been selected as deputy superintendent of the Wichita Public Schools effective January 2. As deputy superintendent, Dr. Irving will oversee elementary and secondary schools, special education, ESOL, early childhood, career and technical education and all other aspects of instruction.
JROTC and Leadership Cadets shared stories about how being involved in the program has helped them during the annual Superintendent’s Breakfast, including a South cadet who shared how being in JROTC literally helped him get back on his feet.
First-year teacher reflects on her first semester as a math teacher and prepares for the rest of the school year.
Students applied for the grants as part of an initiative to learn about philanthropy.
The GWAL vs AVCTL High School Basketball Challenge will be held Jan. 11-13, 2018, at Charles Koch Arena.
The Partners in Education (P.I.E.) Award is given each quarter to any nominated employee who demonstrates excellent customer service and professionalism.
