Congratulations to the boys JV bowling team on their 3rd place finish and to the girls team on their 4th place finish at the Northwest Invitational Tournament.

    Hey Titans,

Students ages 14-18 are invited to apply for the Tanganyika Counselor in Training Program.  Learn to handle a variety of small animals, gain leadership experience, and get 70 hours of community service June 1st through August 10th. The application is due March 2nd!  Pick up your copy in the CCC today.

There are many talented artists at South.  The art teachers submitted more than 35 entries for Scholastics this year, all of them deserving awards.  Unfortunately, the competition is tough.  There were 2,450 entries from High Schools and Middle Schools all over Kansas.  We are happy to announce that South High School had 4 art pieces accepted.

Paige White-won a “silver key” award for her Ceramic Hedgehog and an Honorable Mention for her Ceramic “Pacman Machine”.

Samantha Vaughn won an “honorable mention” for her soft sculpture, “Bubble”.

Danny Saenz won an “honorable mention” for his painting “Jeffery in the Burrow”.
