Hello GPA Families.  This is my 8^th year as an administrator at Gordon Parks Academy and I am proud to serve as your Principal.  Our theme this year is “Level Up” and I’m excited to have you participate with our staff as we blaze the trail to not only academic success but also success in life for our students.  As we engineer success for our students, we invite your participation as parents and students to join in this work.

Hello. I am excited about coming to work with you all at GPA! Currently, this is my 17th year in the district. I have had a wide range of opportunities to learn and grow, having started as a Para and AVID Tutor at Coleman, then teaching there for 7 years. After that, I spent 2 years as the Middle School Math Curriculum Specialist. Now, I am in my 6th year as AP, having been at Greiffenstein-Wells, Wilbur, and now at GPA. My wife and I have been married 18 years and she teaches High School Choir at South High. I have a Junior at NW and a 7th grader at Wilbur.
