Mr. Sanchez, Principal
Mr. Sanchez has been the principal at Linwood since the 2020-2021 school year. He is married and has four children. His wife is an educator as well and teaches special education.
In USD259 Mr. Sanchez has served as a teacher at South High School and the assistant principal at both Chisholm Trail Elementary and Woodman Elementary. As a student Mr. Sanchez attended USD 259 at Gardiner and Lincoln Elementary. Hamilton Middle School and West High School.
For college he received a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota-Morris in Social Studies. He also earned graduate degrees from both Southwestern College and Emporia State University.
When talking about being a teacher and principal Mr. Sanchez says, "I was very fortunate to have many educators invest in me as a student and employee in USD259. I know the value that a connected and caring adult can have in the life of a student and I want all students to have the same experience."
Mrs. Minette, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Minette has worked with Wichita Public Schools for 24 years. She was a teacher at Colvin for 8 years, a teacher at Seltzer for 14 years, and this is her 2nd year as Assistant Principal at Linwood. Mrs. Minette is also a proud USD 259 alumni student attending Kos Harris Elementary, Coleman Junior High, and Southeast High School.
Mrs. Minette has been married to her husband for 24 years. They have 2 sons that are 16 and 18. Her hobbies include reading, shopping, watching movies, traveling, and scuba diving. She is proud to be a part off the Linwood family. Go Lions!!
