• Due to Covid-19 protocols, Gammon Choir will not meet until it is safe to have a large group together.

Gammon Choir is a long-standing, 4th and 5th grade volunteer singing group.  The choir traditionally performs twice in the evening, travels to area retirement communities to sing during the holiday season, and performs in the Elementary Choir Festival in the spring.  This group usually has 40-60 members and rehearses for 30 minutes during the school day on Wednesdays.  Students do not miss any regular classroom time during rehearsals.

Expectations for membership in the Gammon Choir include:

    • Love of singing and desire to work hard towards the best performances possible.
    • Using the 7 habits to show leadership during rehearsals, performances, and field trips.
    • Taking care of first things first in the regular classroom.
    • ATTENDING THE 2 EVENING PERFORMANCES.  (These dates are published on the choir permission form.)

Permission forms are available to interested students the second week of school.
