• Art at Dodge

Research shows that art education is linked to all those things we want for our kids; academic achievement, social and emotional development, confidence, critical thinking and an appreciation of the beauty around them. At Dodge, our students attend art class once a week for 45 minutes and learn a variety of art forms. They are able to experiment with paint, clay, textiles and even recycled materials. Through various techniques, students are able to strengthen their literacy of the visual arts.

When you walk through our building, we have bulletin boards everywhere which display academic work and also art projects our students have completed. We have three display cases in the main academic hallway so 3-D projects can be shown off as well. The world would be a very dismal, sad place without art. We are so glad art is alive and well at Dodge!
