Mr. Brian Anderson

Mr. Anderson’s goal is to encourage and support his students through success and struggle as they cultivate grit within themselves. He enjoys coaching baseball, spending time with his family, and going on road trips to new destinations. Mr. Anderson also teaches math intervention and is the science team lead.

Mr. Chris Ashbrook

Mr. Ashbrook’s belief is that together we are going to work hard, try our best, embrace our mistakes, and improve each and every day. He believes learning is going to be enjoyable, and strives for his students to learn how to appreciate the different perspectives and positive impacts each of us brings to the classroom. Mr. Ashbrook enjoys golf, pickleball, reading, listening to music (live whenever possible), and spending time with his family.

Mrs. Katie Belshe

Mrs. Belshe believes that every student deserves equal access to a supportive and enriching learning environment. Her teaching philosophy revolves around the idea that an inclusive classroom is representative of the diverse world in which our students will one day thrive; and her goal as a teacher is to empower students to enter that world with empathy, self-awareness, and a sense of responsibility to the communities in which they live. Mrs. Belshe is an avid reader who is particularly fond of the fantasy and sci-fi genres. She also dabbles in a variety of crafts including knitting, crochet, and embroidery. In her spare time, she enjoy hanging out with close friends and family.

Mrs. Conduff believes every student is unique, and that they are shaped by their home, communities, and classrooms. She desires for students to grow through having ownership of their education. Mrs. Conduff strives to create a classroom environment focused on positivity and growth! She enjoys being outside and connected to nature. Mrs. Conduff likes to kayak, fish, hike, and camp. She aims to unplug during the weekends and breaks when possible.

Mrs. Fitzgerald believes in creating a caring and diverse learning space where each student is valued and supported. Her approach as a teacher revolves around personalizing learning, encouraging curiosity, and embracing mistakes as opportunities to grow. She is committed to nurturing not only academic skills but also social and emotional development. Mrs. Fitzgerald loves to go out and hike, swim, sit by the fire, or anything that has to do with being outdoors. This makes Coleman a great fit for her. She also loves to home-make pickles.

Mrs. Lopez strives to create a classroom environment where students feel welcome, comfortable, and safe. She wants her students to know that it’s okay to make mistakes; mistakes provide an opportunity to learn and grow! Mrs. Lopez enjoys bike riding, game nights, and playing games on the Nintendo Switch.

Miss Arely Pasillas
Science
Miss Pasillas wants to inspire students to be the best version of themselves. She never asks for perfection, but she does ask for students to try. She believes building relationships with students and parents is a vital part of teaching and seeks to have open communication with parents or guardians to ensure the best education experience for all students. Outside of the classroom, Miss Pasillas likes to stay physically active. She participates in Jiu jitsu class with her fiancé, Chad. She also enjoys riding her bike, doing yoga, and going camping. Miss Pasillas also has a passion for taking pictures of the Milky Way Galaxy, beautiful landscapes, and of course of her fiancé and dog Lulu.

Ms. Beverly Yowell

Ms. Yowell’s classroom is an environment where everyone feels respected, valued, and connected. She believes in creating a space where voices are heard, and ideas are celebrated. Each student brings something special to the team, and together, they will cultivate a sense of belonging which nurtures learning and personal growth. In our journey together, we will not only develop language skills but also nourish the seeds of optimism and curiosity. Ms. Yowell has a beautiful family that she loves to spend time with. They enjoy being outdoors, hiking, sitting by the fire, and playing with their two huskies, Boris and Natasha. One of her favorite things to do is visit America's National Parks. There are so many amazing places to explore!
