Ms. Ambuehl believes all students deserve the same opportunities to thrive and grow in school, and will do anything she can to help them reach their academic and personal goals. She is an avid reader, tabletop gamer, and Dr. Mario virus obliterator. Ms. Ambuehl is also the sponsor for GSA.

Mr. Samuel Belsan
Social Studies | AVID
Mr. Samuel Belsan is passionate about students enjoying learning as they explore history. He focuses on building connections between the past and the present. Mr. Belsan believes that everyone can be a historian. His goal is to empower young people to discover history in a way that helps them become an active member of society. Mr. Belsan enjoys reading books of all genres, playing boards games, and spending time with friends and family.

Ms. Brasser believes that strong relationships are the foundation of any successful classroom. She desires for students who come into her class to feel welcomed each day, and she wants them to know that they are important, valued, and respected. Ms. Brasser holds students’ all-around happiness and security as her number one concern. She feels fortunate to be her students’ teacher. Ms. Brasser enjoys classic movies, Old Hollywood, 1940s and 50 cars, and 1950s jazz!

Ms. Dale seeks to give every student the best chance of success in the classroom. She wants students to know that if they ever need something from her, she will do her best to help! Ms. Dale enjoys traveling and reading. She also likes to try new and interesting food and tries to get something she’s never had before.

Mrs. Garretson believes that all children are capable of learning. She is dedicated to doing all she can to tap into what works best for her students so they can be as successful as possible. In her free time, Mrs. Garretson likes to cook, read, and watch movies with her family. Her personal mantra is: “There’s always hope.”

Mrs. Ines believes that all students can accomplish anything they want to and that they learn through doing. She wants her students to know that it is okay and important to make mistakes and learn from them. Mrs. Ines works to support her students and encourages them to never give up. She pushes them to continue trying because sometimes it takes more than once to understand something. Mrs. Ines loves Harry Potter and thinks she would fit best in Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. She also enjoys watching sports like football, basketball, and volleyball. Mrs. Ines values time with her family and friends and playing different board games.

Mr. Frank Newingham
Science | Math
Mr. Newingham believes learning goes beyond the classroom. He feels it’s important for students to understand multiple perspectives and build critical thinking skills. It is his job to encourage students to be diligent and strive for growth in their learning. Mr. Newingham enjoys vacationing with his family. He also likes to up-cycle and repurpose things into something new. He is a collector of many things. Additionally, Mr. Newingham enjoys gardening and canning fruits and vegetables.
