The Application Process
THE ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS begins November 1st for the upcoming school year & is due January 17, 2020. Please print a checklist to ensure you complete each required step.
The IB Online Application needs to be completed BEFORE scheduling a Shadow Visit.
Visits scheduled before completing the online application will result in the shadow reservation being canceled & the spot opened up for others.

THE ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS begins November 1st for the upcoming school year. Middle School Recruitment Visits are scheduled between East IB & USD259 middle schools from November - December. Check with your student's middle school for the exact date/time they scheduled with us. Student/Parent Evening IB overview meetings will occur on December 10, 2019 & January 7, 2020 from 6pm - 7:00pm in the East High School Performing Arts Center. Applications will be available online on the East High IB Webpage November 1st. The online application, shadow visit reservations, admissions testing reservations, as well as teacher references are only available to be completed online. Please note, however, that you might want to download the application checklist to insure you have completed all parts of the application process. 2020-21 IB Application Checklist
After completing the online application, a shadow visit can be scheduled, but is not required. Reserving your shadow date online using the links provided. There are a limited number of spots availble each day.
Admissions testing, which takes place each January, must be scheduled. Testing is a requirement for consideration for the East High IB program. You can schedule testing online by using the test reservation links.
All 7 application components are due by Friday, January 17, 2020.
Applicants who complete all parts of the application process will receive notification by US mail if they have been selected to Pre-enroll in East High's IB Diploma Program. These letters will be mailed out on February 7th.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma program is a comprehensive and rigorous college-preparatory program designed to meet the needs of academically talented and highly motivated high school students. Only schools authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization in Geneva, Switzerland may offer the IB curriculum and allow their students to sit for IB examinations in hopes of earning an IB diploma. IB Students follow a prescribed course of study in six disciplines, sit for examinations in each discipline, and fulfill additional requirements of the program. Students enrolled in IB schools take the same curriculum and sit for the same examinations.
IB World School students develop strong academic, social and emotional characteristics. They are also likely to perform well academically – often better than students on other programmes.
