Electronic Devices at Hamilton
Between the hours of 8:00a and 3:40p, students are not allowed to use any type of personal electronic devices, or other communicational devices. Though it may seem minor, these devices can pose major distractions within the classrooms. Cell phones, mp3 players/iPod's, iPad's, earbuds/headphones, gaming devices, tablets, etc are all deemed unacceptable for use during school hours. Students are to keep all devices locked in their locker and on silent/vibrate. If your student fails to comply with Hamilton's ED policy, the item will be confiscated and a parent/guardian will be required to sign out and pick up the device- no student will be allowed to retrieve the device, no exceptions. Confiscation slips are always sent home with your student and items may be confiscated by any Hamilton staff member.
