End Ending is the Magnet way of closing the school year. Again, it is a long tradition from Lewis Open Magnet. Although it has changed since we moved into the new building, the thought is the same. We celebrate another year well done. We start out with activities - lovingly chosen by the Fifth-grade teachers. As we move through the rotations it is as if we are revisiting our year. There is a lot of laughter and pictures. The balloon toss has replaced the kickball game but there is still fierce competition. Fifth-grade teams against each other and teacher teams against each other. The final student/teacher toss off for the trophy is followed by popsicles. It is a wonderful way to end the year.
