WPS High School Juniors participate in College and Career Boot Camp
WPS students who recently completed their junior year will participate in the first district-wide College & Career Boot Camp May 31 – June 3, at East High School, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Summer Food Program offers free meals to all children
Free breakfasts and lunches will be offered to children 18 years old and younger at 48 locations as part of the WPS Summer Food Program. The Summer Food program runs May 31 – July 29, 2022.

All-City Honor Concerts showcase Wichita’s finest student musicians
The Wichita Public Schools present the annual All-City Honor Concerts at Century II. These concerts showcase the talents of hundreds of Wichita Public Schools students ranging from grades 5-12 and represent music programs in all of the elementary, middle, and high schools.

WPS shows commitment to future workforce by adding Market Value Asset enhancements to high school diplomas (9-10-21)
During the September 13 Board of Education meeting, BOE members will learn about the Wichita Public Schools commitment to the future workforce by having the majority of seniors graduate with a diploma and one or more Market Value Assets by 2023.
