• MEDICATIONS:

    Per Board Policy 5316, students with prescribed or over the counter (OTC) medications must be administered through the school nurses office. They must be brought to the school by the parent or guardian in the prescribed bottle with a current signed Request For Administration Of Medication form signed by the student's prescribing physician and parent/guardian. 

     

    If at all possible, medications should be given before or after school under parent supervision. The initial dose of a medication must be given at home by the parent/guardian to determine if student will have an adverse reaction.

     

    It is parents responsibility to assure that the medication brought to the school is the correct dosage prescribed and listed on the bottle.
