WPS is the largest school district in Kansas, educating approximately 10 percent of all public school students in the state of Kansas, and more than half of all school-aged children in Sedgwick County.
We are proud of our award-winning schools, outstanding teachers and staff, accomplished students, and committed parents and volunteers. WPS serves students in 88 schools and special program locations, employing nearly 10,000 dedicated professionals.
