Superintendent Kelly Bielefeld answers questions about the bond issue election

“Despite the uncertainty of the results, there are three things that are very clear:

1.    Wichita Public Schools is still dedicated to making every student future ready.
2.    The facility needs have not gone away and won’t until we have funds to address them.
3.    We are committed to running the district in the most efficient way we can while serving our children.”

Superintendent Kelly Bielefeld gave a statement and answered reporters’ questions about the February 25, 2025, bond election.
