WPS teachers receive Credit Union of America grants
Eighteen Wichita Public Schools teachers have received grants from Credit Union of America’s TGIF grant (Teach, Grow, and Inspire the Future) program.
This semester’s awards total $50,040 distributed to 55 Kansas teachers in south central Kansas.
CUA has distributed more than $515,000 to help educators enhance their curriculum by funding classroom projects, supplies, field trips, and other educational activities that enrich the student experience. The grant applications are blindly evaluated for classroom creativity, need, and number of students reached.
