Find Your School

Wichita Public Schools assigns students to schools based on their home address. If your address is located within the boundary of a WPS school, the student will be assigned to that school (also called their neighborhood school).

Find Your Assigned School

Using the WebQuery tool, type your address in the address field and select the number for the grade level of the student (KG for Kindergarten). Your results will show your neighborhood school and if the student is eligible to receive bus transportation. Based on BOE policy P7300, a student must live more than 2.5 miles from the school assigned to their address to qualify for transportation.

Please note: Besides KG (Kindergarten), the letters stand for pre-k special programs. HS does not mean High School and ES does not mean Elementary School.

There are a few reasons students may choose to attend or be assigned to attend a school other than the one assigned.
