    Immunization Exclusion Day was October 15th, 2020

    (updated protocol 9/23/2020)

    Students were required to have immunizations up to date prior to October 15th:

    • Students attending school in person
    • Students going into a school to receive services (Special Education, OT, PT, Speech, ESOL, etc.)
    • Students going into a school for an evaluation
    • Students going into a school for exams, tests or assistance(Education Imagine Students)
    • Students going into a school for Wifi access to be able to attend through MSR
    • Students participating in extra-curricular school activities (this includes EI and remote students)

     

    *Students that do not have one of the following documents on file with the school nurse prior to October 15th, will be excluded from attending school and participating in extra-curricular activities in person.

    • Up to date immunization records (shot records)
    • Scheduled plan to give shots needed – signed by the healthcare provider
    • Signed Medical or Religious Exemption according to the provisions of law 
    • Please note that medical exemptions must be completed annually

     


    MySchool Remote (MSR) Students

    Students that are ONLY attending school via MSR and do not go into a school building for any services or participate in extracurricular activities will not be excluded from attending school via MSR on October 15th if their immunizations are not up to date. We strongly encourage parents to get their child’s immunizations up to date as soon as possible and provide a copy of the shot record to their school nurse.

     

    *** IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING MSR STUDENTS! ***

    • Elementary students currently attending school via MSR: 
      • Immunizations must be up to date prior to attending school or a school related activity in person.
    • Secondary students currently attending school via MSR:
      • Immunizations must be up to date  prior to attending school or a school related activity in person. 
      • If the gating criteria changes and allows in person attendance for secondary students – ALL secondary students that elected to attend in person will be required to have all immunizations up to date and on file with the school nurse prior to attending in person or participating in extra-curricular activities in person.
