Hello!  Welcome to the Gordon Parks Academy Library.   My name is Sara Puetz.  I have been the librarian at Gordon Parks Academy since 2008.  Previously, I was a kindergarten teacher, first grade teacher, librarian and grant writer in the Renwick School District.  I live in western Sedgwick County with my husband, who spends a lot of time on the family farm.  We have three grown sons and four grandchildren.  I enjoy sewing, scrap-booking, gardening, my grandchildren, and of course, READING!  It is my pleasure to serve the Gordon Parks community as a librarian.  Librarians are an integral part of the school community and student learning.  My many roles include helping students and staff locate resources, use technology, and my most favorite, find "just the right book".   Please feel free to stop by the library whenever you are at Gordon Parks Academy.  Please contact me with any questions or concerns.  Email is the quickest way to receive a reply.
