I am so excited about being at Christa McAuliffe Academy!  CMA has a rich history of excellence, and I will work to continue that tradition.  We have wonderful parent and family engagement, and we encourage open communication.  If you have a concern, please let us know!  Our goal is to work together to give your child(ren) the best education and experience possible.

A little about me: I was an assistant principal at Robinson, Coleman, and Hamilton.  Before that, I was a math and AVID teacher at North High School as well as their wrestling coach.

I am so excited to join the CMA Comet family this year! I have heard nothing but amazing things about how wonderful our students, families, and staff are here at this special place and I am so excited to call it my home! I am new to CMA from Hadley Middle School where I was an Assistant Principal for the last 3 years. I have also been an Assistant Principal at Mayberry Middle School. I have worked in the district for 21 years with most of my year spent as a Spanish and AVID teacher at Coleman Middle School. I LOVE working with middle school students! It is truly where my heart is. I will strive to create authentic relationships with my students and do whatever I can to help postively impact their academic success. GO COMETS!!!

Mrs. Flores joined CMA as Assistant Principal in the 22-23 school year. She is a proud West High School graduate. Her education degree was earned at Bethel College and ESOL/Masters in building administration from Newman University. She has worked in USD 259 as a teacher and instructional coach during her education career. She has three children and her husband, Everardo, is an assistant principal at Heights High School.
