• Speak Up is 100% Anonymous Tip program available to everyone in the Wichita Public Schools community.

First introduced in the district's middle and high schools in 2010, Speak Up is now available to all grade levels.  The program is managed through the Safety Services Department as part of their Crime Stoppers in Schools.

We know that students see and hear what is happening in and around our school, and often times, they have the information that is needed to keep unsafe things from happening.

Speak Up wants every student to feel safe to tell.  Telling allows us to keep our school, yourself, or someone you know safe from threats, harmful behaviors or dangerous situations.

Students are encourage to talk to a parent, a teacher, the principal or another trust adult.  But if they don't feel comfortable, they can use Speak Up.

There are two ways to submit the information:

#1 - Parents and/or Students can go to www.speakup.usd259.org from any computer and submit on-line.

#2 - Send a text message.  Just start your text with 'SPEAKUP' plus the tip information and send to CRIMES (274637)

In both cases, all identifying information is removed from the tip, before being forward to the district coordinator for Speak Up.  It is 100% anonymous.
