Wichita High School East National Honor Society
Welcome to East High’s chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS). NHS is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character
Requirements: Juniors or Seniors with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 may apply to be a member of NHS. Members must maintain their GPA, complete 20 hours of community service, and participate in fundraisers and in-school community service projects. Last year, East High’s NHS members contributed to the Wichita community through donations to the Salvation Army and Operation School Bell.
NHS meets once a month, during lunch.
Applications are available each Fall.

Volunteers are needed to help set up for their open house. Wednesday, October 25, after school. See flyer for more information.

Seniors: $10, Juniors: $5
Coffee forms were handed out at the October meeting. This is one of the required fundraisers. Coffee forms are due at the November meeting, (11/9). These make GREAT holiday gifts. The special fundraising blend has a label with East High National Honor Society on it!!
