Visual Arts students will explore art concepts in design, drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, ceramics, and sculpture. Instruction will focus on art appreciation, art history, and written and verbal critique relating to the elements and principles of art.

 Students will have the opportunity to participate in at least two art shows during the school year, one show being the spring art show held at the school. Other art events students have been involved in are Empty Bowls Wichita and the USD259 K-12 Student Art Exhibit.
