Join us to celebrate all things Poetry

    during National Poetry Month.

"National Poetry Month each April is the largest literary celebration in the world, with tens of millions of readers, students, K-12 teachers, librarians, booksellers, literary events curators, publishers, bloggers, and, of course, poets marking poetry’s important place in our culture and our lives" (Academy of American Poets @ poets.org).

Click on the logo above to go to "30 Ways to Celebrate National Poetry Month," or come into the LMC to find books of poems, ideas for writing poetry, ideas for celebrating poetry, and an opportunity to contribute a verse to the Wall of Poetry @ the Library.
