My name is Brandi Eveland and I am the library media specialist at Buckner. I have worked at all levels of the library (K-12 through college) but thoroughly enjoy teaching at the elementary level. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, emphasis on piano, and a Master's Degree in Library Science.
My husband and I have 2 daughters, ages 10 and 5, who keep us very busy outside of school. I love spending time with my family, especially since "free" time is so valuable in our busy lives. I am also an avid reader of most fiction and am trying to instill that love of reading in my own children. As I child, I remember going to the public library for storytime. In 4th grade, my teacher read"From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweller" by Konigsburg to the class. I was very fortunate to have people in my life that influenced me to read. That is what I hope to do with all my students.
