•              AVID is a program designed to prepare students in the academic middle for admission to post-secondary universities and colleges.  AVID students learn and develop skills to improve their academic success throughout their school careers.

                Students learn study and organizational strategies, writing to learn skills, and probing-question development. Students also get academic help from peers and college tutors, and participate in enriching and motivational activities that make going to college seem realistic.
